Staples Waterproofing Company is a specialised contracting service based in Sydney, Australia. We specialise in long life sheet membrane systems, and warm roof buildups with either flat or tapered insulation. All our installations boast minimum 20-year product and workmanship guarantees. We have spent the last 13 years honing our craft, narrowing in on perfection, and sorting the wheat from the chaff. Our Services
We’ve found the simplest route to providing top notch solutions is to eliminate as many variables as possible in the product selection stage. Sheet membranes are robust, and much less sensitive to external factors than most other system types. The application is a highly involved process with specialised tools and skills required to install them correctly. For this reason we have specialised in hot air fusion welded sheet membranes – PVC, Butynol, & TPO.
With the rising demand and cost of electricity, the pursuit of thermally efficient building envelopes has finally come to Australia. SWC has been one of the pioneering contractors of this system in Australia using only Kingspan TT46 & TT47 tapered insulation panels. In early 2024, SWC carried out the first official Klip-Lok roof remediation project in Darlinghurst, Sydney. This new system provides significant thermal benefits and adds an additional 30+ years of life to eligible metal roof decks. By converting the roof sheets to a membraned roof, there are also a multitude of other benefits including compliance with minimum fall requirements - 1:100 vs 1:57 required for metal roofs.
